Refund Policy

Last updated: August 24, 2026

Please read the Tradex refund policy carefully. Every payment (including renewals) is eligible for a full refund if requested within 14 days of the payment date, regardless of usage. Upgrades take effect immediately and only the prorated difference after deducting the unused period of the previous Plan is charged; downgrades take effect from your next billing date. Payments, refunds and receipts are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record.

Summary

The Tradex refund policy distinguishes between full refunds (14 days) and proration on Plan changes.

Payments, billing, refunds and receipts for paid Tradex Plans are processed by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited, United Kingdom / Paddle.com Inc., United States) acting as Merchant of Record. Displayed prices are in U.S. dollars (USD) and exclude taxes such as VAT, which may be added at checkout depending on the Customer's country of residence. When a refund is issued, any tax charged at the time of payment is refunded proportionally as well.

Full Refund

A full refund means a 100% refund to the payment method used at the time of purchase. Every paid Plan payment, including the first payment and renewal payments, is eligible for a full refund if requested within 14 days of the payment date, regardless of usage. After 14 days, refunds for change of mind are not provided; if you cancel your Subscription, you keep access to the Service until the end of the current billing period.

To request a full refund: use the Paddle customer support portal (paddle.net — linked from your payment receipt email) or contact support@tradex.so.

Plan Change Policy

Upgrades take effect immediately and only the prorated difference is charged. Downgrades take effect from your next billing date, and your current Plan remains in effect until then.

Upgrade (to a higher Plan)

The new Plan applies immediately, and only the difference is charged after deducting the amount for the remaining period of the previous Plan. A new billing cycle starts on the date of the change.

Example: switching from PRO ($10) to PREMIUM ($20) after 10 days → only the difference for the remaining 20 days, approximately $6.67, is charged

Downgrade (to a lower Plan)

A downgrade takes effect from your next billing date, and your current Plan remains in effect until then. The fee for the changed Plan is charged from your next billing date, with no separate refund or credit. A scheduled downgrade can be canceled from the subscription management screen before it takes effect.

Notes on Downgrading a Plan

  • When moving from a higher to a lower Plan, usage of features available only on the higher Plan (unlimited AI analysis, multiple exchange connections, etc.) is not separately refunded or settled. This does not limit your right to a full refund within 14 days of the payment date.
  • Downgrades take effect from your next billing date. Your current Plan remains in effect until then, so there is no separate refund or credit for the unused period of the previous Plan.
  • When a downgrade takes effect, exchange connections, chart layouts and price alerts exceeding the limits of the new Plan are automatically disabled.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What happens to the remaining amount when I change Plans?

On an upgrade, only the difference after deducting the amount for the remaining period of the previous Plan is charged immediately. On a downgrade, you keep your current Plan until your next billing date, so there is no separate refund or credit for the remaining amount.

Q. How is payment handled when I upgrade my Plan?

On an upgrade, the amount for the remaining period of the previous Plan is calculated and only the difference for the new Plan is charged immediately. For example, if you switch from the PRO Plan to PREMIUM after 10 days, only the difference for the remaining 20 days (approximately $6.67) is charged.

Q. When does a downgrade take effect?

Downgrades take effect from your next billing date. Until then you keep the features and limits of your current Plan, and the fee for the changed Plan is charged from your next billing date with no extra charge or refund. A scheduled downgrade can be canceled from the subscription management screen before it takes effect.

Q. Will I be charged if I cancel during the free trial?

No payment is made during the free trial (TRIAL) period, so canceling during the trial incurs no charge. The refund policy applies only to paid Plans (Pro, Premium, Elite).

Q. Is my data retained after I cancel my Subscription?

Your data is retained for 30 days after cancellation. If you subscribe again within that period, your existing data remains available. After 30 days the data is permanently deleted.

Q. How long does a refund take?

Refunds are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, to the original payment method and are typically reflected within 5 to 10 business days after approval. Depending on your card issuer or payment provider, it may take additional time for the refund to appear.

Q. Where can I get my receipt?

Paddle, our Merchant of Record, sends the receipt (invoice) to the email address registered at checkout. Your payment records are also available in the payment history of the subscription management screen within the Service.
